Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool

The facility has two pools used for a variety of activities. The pool operates a number of sessions and provides for a variety of different people with access for everyone.

The pool is fully accessable by disabled users and has received awards for its lighting and design.

The pool water quality is maintained through a combination of chlorine and ozone making it easier for us to keep the number of chemicals we use down to a minimum.

Safety First

The Tadcaster Swimming Pool Trust Ltd aims to minimise the risk of incidents, accidents or cross-infection to both staff and public. Customers can help us maintain our excellent safety record by following these guidelines.

Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (16 years and over) in the water. One adult may accompany a maximum of 2 children under 8 years of age.
Children should not attend unaccompanied if they are unable to swim 25m unaided. Non-swimmers must wear buoyancy aids or be accompanied on a one-to-one basis.
All swimmers are encouraged to shower prior to swimming.
All swimmers are encouraged to wear swim caps.
If you feel unwell during your visit, please notify a lifeguard immediately or any other member of staff.
The facility is for everyone's enjoyment and we ask that you extend courtesy to other customers.
