Volunteering

Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool relies heavily on a network of volunteers. The main areas for volunteer work are Reception and Pool Lifeguard but we do have opportunities to help out in Administration, Gardening, Maintenance. We are still looking to recruit a qualified electrician. All our volunteers are given training free of charge in return for 2 hours a week commitment.

If you live in or around the Tadcaster area and can spare a couple of hours a week, then please contact us.

Lifeguards

RLSS NATIONAL POOL LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION

Lifeguards must complete the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). At Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool we offer training toward this qualification all year round, plus with the added benefit of it being FREE!

Receptionists

We can always use more volunteer receptionists.

As a volunteer receptionist, you will be the face of Tadcaster Swimming Pool. The first point of contact for everyone that comes through our doors.
